Egregio,
di seguito riporto gli elementi significativi riguardanti la moneta di figura:

Sesterzio1, zecca di Roma, 103÷111 d. C.2, RIC II 492 (pag. 280), BMC III 885 (pag. 187), Cohen II 469 (pag. 65), indice di rarità "C".

Descrizione sommaria (sono indicate in rosso le parti della leggenda usurate o comunque non più leggibili):
D. IMP CAES NERVAE TRAIANO AVG GER DAC P M TR P COS V P P3. Traiano, testa laureata a destra.
R. SPQR OPTIMO PRINCIPI. S C4 a sinistra e a destra in basso nel campo. L'Abbondanza drappeggiata5, stante a sinistra, sorregge con la mano destra spighe di grano e una cornucopia con la sinistra; a terra a sinistra un moggio con tre spighe e a destra in basso la prua d'una nave volta a destra.

Concludo osservando che, per quanto consentito ad una valutazione a distanza, la moneta di figura presenta caratteristiche generali e di stile non difformi da quelle delle monete dello stesso tipo reperite nel web. In assenza delle caratteristiche fisiche non sarà possibile svolgere un esame comparativo con le monete autentiche del periodo, né verificare che la moneta sia un sesterzio, piuttosto che un asse. Nel presente stato di conservazione, se effettivamente un sesterzio, il valore venale del campione in esame è quello indicato dal link11, visto che si tratta proprio della stessa moneta.

In assenza delle caratteristiche fisiche della moneta in esame non sarà possibile svolgere un esame comparativo con le monete autentiche del periodo.
(2) La moneta può essere genericamente ascritta al periodo che inizia con il 5° consolato di Traiano (103 d.C.) e si conclude con l'inizio del 6° (111 d. C.).
(3) Le leggende del dritto e del rovescio della moneta vanno lette unitamente: IMPeratori CAESari NERVAE TRAIANO AVGusto GERmanico DACico Pontifici Maximo TRibunicia  Potestate COSuli V Patri Patriae SPQR OPTIMO PRINCipi e quindi: il Senato e il Popolo di Roma [dedicano] all'Imperatore Cesare Nerva Traiano, Augusto, Germanico, Dacico, Pontefice Massimo, Console per la 5a volta, Padre della Patria, Principe Ottimo. Per il  profilo biografico di Traiano rimando al portale dell'Enciclopedia dell'Arte Antica consultabile in rete (v. link).
(4) S C (Senatus Consulto, "per decreto del Senato") era la consueta sigla apposta sui nominali in bronzo romani (sesterzi, dupondi e assi) ad indicare la competenza esclusiva del Senato nelle decisioni attinenti alle emissioni di quelle monete (la monetazione in oro e in argento, che non riporta quella sigla, rientrava invece nelle competenze dirette dell'imperatore).
(5) Abbondanza, tale è, secondo il Ric, la personificazione nel rovescio, mai nominata esplicitamente nella leggenda delle monete. Per la presenza delle spighe di grano, della cornucopia e del moggio, BMC interpreta il personaggio come Annona. Indubbiamente la scena del rovescio loda le capacità organizzative di Traiano volte ad assicurare il regolare trasporto del grano per via marittima, l'abbondanza delle forniture alimentari alla popolazione e, con la presenza del moggio, l’equa distribuzione degli alimenti.
