di seguito riporto gli elementi significativi riguardanti la moneta di figura:

Denario1, zecca di Roma, 74 d. C.2, RIC II_NE 685 (pag. 107), RIC II 83 (pag. 23), BMC II 146* (pag. 27), Cohen I 386 (pag. 397), indice di frequenza "C"

Descrizione sommaria:
D. IMP CAESAR VESP AVG3. Vespasiano, testa laureata a destra.
R. PONTIF - MAXIM4. Vespasiano, seduto su sedia curule, con scettro e ramo. Bordo perlinato.

La ricerca nel web di monete della tipologia di figura ha dato luogo ai seguenti risultati:

Concludo osservando che, per quanto consentito ad una valutazione a distanza, la moneta di figura presenta caratteristiche generali e di stile non difformi da quelle delle morte autentiche reperite nel web. In assenza delle caratteristiche fisiche non sarà possibile svolgere un esame comparativo con le monete autentiche del periodo. Nel presente stato di conservazione, se autentica , potrebbe, a mio avviso, valere c. 60€.

In assenza delle caratteristiche fisiche del campione in esame non sarà possibile svolgere un esame comparativo con le monete autentiche del periodo.

(3) IMP CAESAR VESP AVG (IMPerator CAESAR VESPasianus AVGustus). Il titolo dinastico di Caesar viene mutuato dalla famiglia Giulio-Claudia. Una breve sintesi biografica di Vespasiano viene tracciata dal portale dell'Enciclopedia Treccani (v. link).
(4) PONTIF - MAXIM (PONTIFex MAXIMus - Pontefice Massimo). Il pontefice massimo, ricoprendo nel sacerdozio una posizione analoga a quella dei consoli, aveva il diritto di sedere sulla sella curule (v. link) ed era scortato da 30 littori curiati che non portavano i "fasces" ed avevano il compito di condurre gli animali agli altari in occasione dei sacrifici.
